E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial (Original English Version)

Exactly 40 years ago, a little alien visited our planet and the cinema world was turned upside down. E.T. went on to become one of the highest-grossing films ever made, winning four Academy Awards® and nine Oscar® nominations, including »Best Picture«. He has now returned, just in time for the big anniversary.

E.T. - a little alien who suddenly finds himself three million light years from his home planet. Accidentally left behind, he is discovered by 10-year-old boy called Elliott, who takes a liking to him at once and offers to help. The alien quickly settles in with Elliott's family, who keep him in hiding, but he suffers from terrible homesickness. He tries to contact his relatives on his home planet so that he can fly back home. At the same time, the authorities learn of the little earth visitor’s presence and do everything in their power to find him. Only Elliott and his siblings Gertie and Michael can still help him and prove their extraordinary friendship...

Four decades later, this cult film still ignites the joy, wonder, discovery, heartbreak and magic of childhood.
